About Gaubharat

Food grown the way forests grow food.

Gaubharat is an organic farming initiative rooted in India’s ancient agricultural wisdom and guided by natural ecological principles. Our approach to organic farming is based on a simple belief: when farming follows nature instead of controlling it, food becomes healthier, more balanced, and truly nourishing.

Gaubharat is led by Trushna Kaushil Patel, a Panchagavya Vaidya with over 20 years of hands-on experience in organic and natural farming. Her work combines traditional knowledge with long-term field practice, focusing on soil health, seed diversity, and sustainable food systems.

Over the years, she has carried out deep research on desi beej (indigenous seeds), studying their nutritional value, climate resilience, adaptability, and role in preserving agricultural biodiversity. These traditional seeds form the foundation of Gaubharat’s farming philosophy and crop selection.

Gaubharat also draws extensively from ancient Indian agricultural practices, including Panchagavya-based methods, forest-inspired farming systems, and soil-centric cultivation techniques. These practices are applied as practical sciences—tested through experience, observation, and results—rather than as trends or rituals.

We consciously avoid chemical fertilizers, chemical pesticides, and excessive external inputs, even those commonly used in modern organic farming. Instead, we focus on protecting natural soil biology, encouraging microbial balance, and allowing crops to grow at their natural pace.

Today, Gaubharat offers a complete ecosystem of organically grown vegetables, fruits, grains, pulses, millets, spices, and A2 dairy products, produced with transparency, integrity, and respect for nature.

Our purpose remains simple:

to provide honest, naturally grown food that supports the health of people, soil, and the environment.
